While finishing up an anticipated new album, Deftones have been livestreaming for fans in isolation, and frontman Chino Moreno will now get in on the action later this evening.Moreno will perform a live DJ set this evening that fans can watch through the band's Twitch channel. The frontman will start spinning at 10 p.m. ET.
Deftones are currently mixing their ninth studio album, which will follow 2016's Gore. As shown through their own Instagram documentation, the band are at work on the effort with Terry Date. The longtime producer helmed the band's first four albums, including seminal effort White Pony.
Back in February, Deftones made plans to hit the road on a summer tour with Gojira and Poppy. At present, those dates have not been postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Deftones had recently cancelled planned shows in Australia and New Zealand.
Last year, Moreno released new music with Saudade.
Chino is taking over the #Deftones @Twitch tomorrow at 7PM PT / 10 PM ET for a live Friday night DJ set. Follow along at https://t.co/PuCswLzwxg.
